ASTEC Charter High School is only seven years old, yet has developed many traditions as well as a culture of friendliness and acceptance. We are a college preparatory school offering a liberal arts education. As our name suggests, we place a high importance on the integration of math, science and technology in all subjects and learn to apply these subjects into everyday life.
ASTEC High School serves to provide a distinct education with high academic standards. Students may choose classes based on academic abilities and interests. Advanced Placement courses are offered along with various levels of mathematic education. At present the school has an enrollment of more than 250 students in grades nine through twelve.
All ASTEC High School faculty are certified and meet the national "No Child Left Behind" standards for "highly qualified". Our experienced principal, assistant principal and guidance counselors assist students and their parents in identifying goals and coursework to ensure the greatest likelihood of success. School organizations, clubs, and sports offer many leadership and participation opportunities within the ASTEC community.
